Weekend at Yosemite
There's something special about seeing Yosemite for the first time. Photos don't really prepare you for the scale of the granite cliffs, the waterfalls, or just how peaceful the valley feels.
Our first trip definitely won't be our last. We were already talking about coming back before we even left, and a return visit this fall is officially on the calendar. We can't wait to see Yosemite dressed in autumn colors and experience a completely different side of one of the most beautiful places we've ever visited.
A Much-Needed Getaway
Sometimes the best gift you can give your marriage is simply time away together. After months of routines, work, kids, and endless to-do lists, my wify and I finally carved out a weekend just for us. No schedules. No obligations. Just the two of us. We kept it simple — a quiet cabin, awesome food, very long walk, and late-night conversations that somehow felt brand new again. We laughed more. We slowed down. We remembered why we chose each other in the first place. There’s something powerful about stepping away from everyday life and choosing presence over productivity. A weekend away doesn’t fix everything, but it reminds you that you’re still a team—and that the person next to you is still your favorite person.
